PRESS ANY KEY 2 Your opponent's status is on the right lower corner of the screen. Your task is to lower its confidence to 0 by attacking it with your spells. Keep a close eye on your confidence level! If your character's confidence is lowered to 0, he will run from the battle. If you have no character in the battle, the battle is lost. ZMickey will start. Choose the "Move" option from the menu to move him closer to the enemy. oYou can see the range where Mickey can move. Choose the square with a green target to move closer to the enemy. GYou're too far away from the enemy to use fireballs. So, choose "Wait". It's your opponent's turn now. jYour opponent can only attack when standing on the neighboring square. They will choose to "Wait" as well. KThe 1st round is over. You can see the statistics at the end of each round. IYour opponent is now close enough to be attacked. First, choose "Spells." qWhen the cursor is positioned on a spell, you will see the spell's description. Now, choose the "Fireball" spell. dYour opponent is now in range of the Fireball. Keep the cursor positioned on him and press Fire (5). *You've lowered your opponent's confidence. KNow, move away from your opponent so you are out of range of their attacks. `Using spells decreases your mana. To recharge your mana, select "Wait" instead of using a spell. MFirst, move away from your opponent so you are out of range of their attacks. Now, choose "Wait". HCongratulations! You've finished the tutorial. Now defeat your opponent! . Beagle Boy 1 has a Water Column spell, which has a 3-square attack range. Immobilise him by using your new Bush Ropes spell, then attack him using Fireballs from 4 squares away to avoid his attacks. FYour team now has two members! Press 0 to switch from Mickey to Goofy. The characters take turns. First you select a character, then your opponent, then you again. A character which has played in the particular turn can't move till the next turn begins. You've acquired an Earthshake spell which will affect the opponents on the whole battlefield. But be carefull, this spell costs a lot of mana. Surely, you have noticed the paddlocks which appear over each character when their turn is over? This means they can't move until the next round. Each team has a different lock. "Now, the first opponent will play. You can use the Defence against water to deflect the opponent's spell. If successful, your opponent will lose half of the confidence you would have lost in case you had not countered. sBe careful! The team mate who uses a Counterspell can't use any other spell during that round. So plan accordingly. ,Now, your second character is going to play. dThis is the Crystal Screen. You can manage all the crystals that you wish to use in the next battle. The bottom row contains new crystals. Select a new spell by using the D-Pad. Press Fire (5) to move the crystal to the right gap. You can put it away by selecting it at the top row. QIf the row becomes full, you can exchange a new crystal for another from the row. ]This is the Inventory Screen. Here, you can equip your characters with the newly found items. uChoose a character by pressing Up/Down (2/8), then choose a right gap (for cape, staff or boots) by Left/Right (4/6). bPressing Fire (5) will equip the character with a corresponding item from the row of unused items. XPress Fire (5) again to change the item for another one in the row or take the item out. The enemy is using a Rain spell. It affects members of your team on the whole battlefield. But it costs the caster a lot of mana. Press Right soft key to deselect a character. Then you can move the cursor to see the whole screen; press Right soft key again to display a minimap. You can also display characters' bars by pressing *. Move neighbouring pieces to an empty space to solve the puzzle. When all the pieces are in the right place and you see the picture, you'll acquire a new powerfull item. Press Up (2) or Right (6) to select next level, press Down (8) or Left (4) to select a previous one. Press Fire (5) to enter it. . . 5You've got a new spell which can bind your opponents.  First, move closer to the enemy. Now, select the "Wait" option. lThe opponent has only a Water column spell which has 3 squares range. He is 4 squares far so he has to wait. 2Select the Bush-ropes spell and bind the opponent. FThe opponent can't move nearer to use his spell. He has to wait again. FStay in the 4 squares distance and attack the opponent with Fireballs. `You can't use Bush-ropes this round because plant spells don't influence Plant and Fire enemies. pYou can't use the Plant and Fire spells during this level because these spells don't influence the Fire enemies. aYou can't use the Water spells this level because these spells don't influence the Water enemies.  	You wish. #Yay! You've found it! !You should be faster next time... AThere is a thick fog which lowers your visibility and your speed. Watch the hourglass at the right upper corner of the screen. If you don't find the item before all the sand falls through you must leave and continue with the quest. =Nice to meet you again. I've got something you'd love to see. NThere's a powerful item hidden in this area. Follow the brown path to find it. <The Great Crown which has been shattered is to be reformed again. The team which wins the Great Tournament of Magic will acquire all the powerfull crystals needed to reform the Crown. The Wizards of Mickey team, composed of diamagic beginners Mickey, Donald and Goofy, enters the tournament.| | Meanwhile, Mickey's teacher of magic, Nereus, has been captured and imprisoned by his rival, the evil Phantom Blot. Phantom Blot wants to reform the Great Crown himself so he can rule the world. When the character is hit by an enemy spell or their own spell is deflected by a counterspell the character's confidence is decreased. When Confidence drops to 0, the character escapes from the battle. If all team members escape from the battle, it will be lost.QThis bar represents the character's amount of magical energy (mana). Each spell requires a certain amount of mana to be successfuly cast. Amount of mana is decreased by each cast spell, when there is less mana than needed for a spell, the spell can't be cast. Mana can be recharged by choosing a "Wait" option instead of casting a spell. These icons represent special bonuses the characters can have.
