# Instructions

ins_basics		= Basics
ins_rules		= Pool Rules
ins_controls		= Controls
ins_effects		= Effect shots

ins_basics_txt = There are two types of games, selectable from the Settings menu: either you play against another person, or you play against the phone. In the latter case, you'll have to choose an opponent at the start, and make a bet. When you subsequently win the game, your bank balance is increased by the matching bet of your opponent. While you increase your bank balance, you can play against more difficult players that will enable you to win even more money by placing higher bets.

ins_rules_txt1 = The player to shoot first is randomly chosen. This player starts the game by hitting the cue ball into the triangle of balls. If a colored ball is potted (blue/red), the player can make another shot, until no more balls are potted. The first colored ball to be potted *after* the break shot determines the color that is assigned to the player for the rest of the game, while the other color is assigned to the opponent. If the players subsequently hit any balls other than their own first (that is, when any of those balls are first touched by the cue ball after it left the cue stick), this is considered a foul, and the opponent can make two series of shots in a row (indicated by the double ball icon at the top right corner), unless he or she also makes a foul.

ins_rules_txt2 = It is also considered a foul not to hit any ball at all; to pot the cue ball itself; or to pot the black ball before the end of the game. After all the balls of one color are potted, the corresponding player can hit the black ball into any pocket desired to win the game.

ins_controls_txt1	= When it's your turn to move, you can control the cue stick with the direction pad (left, right, up, down) on your phone. If you want to move the cue more quickly, keep holding down the key corresponding to the desired direction, or press 7, 8 or 9, for quickly moving left, down, and right, respectively.

ins_controls_txt2	= In addition to moving the cue, you can view the table from various viewpoints by pressing any of the keys from 1 to 6. For instance, to view the table from above to get a good overview of all the balls on the table, simply press 2.

ins_controls_txt3	= While you're aiming at a ball, you'll see a translucent 'ghost' ball, which shows you where the cue ball will hit if you were to hit it without 'English' (side-spin). You can get a close-up view of the ghost ball from above by pressing '0'.

ins_effects_txt1	= Due to the extremely accurate and realistic physics engine built into 3D PoolDreams(TM), you can make almost all the types of shots that you can make in real pool. For example, you can use back spin, side spin (English), 'masse' shots, 'swerve' shots etc.

ins_effects_txt2	= In a masse shot, you'll see the cue ball make a curve. You can do this by moving the cue stick to an almost vertical position, and then hitting the cue ball all the way at the bottom/left or bottom/right, with medium power. Try it some time, it's pretty cool!
